Methodology
Every rule the report uses, the convention it follows and the texts it comes from.
How career timing is read
In Vedic astrology, work is read from the 10th house of the birth chart and the planet that rules it. The Vimshottari dasha divides a life into periods ruled by each planet, and Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra associates recognition in one's work with the period of the lord of the 10th.
This report finds the periods of the planets tied to work in your chart, in your own dasha, from the day you buy it to ten years ahead, and dates each one. A period is a strong career period when the 10th lord or a planet in the 10th rules its sub-period and another career planet its main period, and a career period when the tie is looser.
The periods it shows are astrological indications drawn from traditional Vedic techniques, not certainties. Skills, effort and circumstance decide what happens in them.
Questions
Does this tell me when I will get a job?
No. It shows the periods your chart traditionally associates with work, and dates them. They are astrological indications, not certainties about a job, an offer or a promotion.
Does it say whether I will get a government job?
No. Few sources give a rule for it, so the report does not claim one. It reads whether the chart leans to employment or to business, from the houses classical texts use for each.
How exact does my birth time need to be?
As exact as you have it. The 10th house changes with the rising sign, about every two hours, so a birth time a little off usually changes nothing. The D10 chart is read only through the planets, which barely move in a few minutes, and never through its own rising sign, which can.
Will the report change if I open it again next year?
No. The ten years are counted from the day you bought it, and the report reads the same every time you open it.
